As the principal of EAGLE College Prep-Maryvale, my goal is to provide your child with a positive and personalized learning experience in both academics and character formation. I have been in education for 14 years, which includes 10 years of classroom instruction. I spent most of my teaching experience in grades Kindergarten through third grade. I started at EAGLE as a first-grade teacher in 2015 and transitioned to administration as the Dean of Students in 2018, prior to becoming principal this past winter. I am passionate about helping every scholar become a well-rounded individual through academics and character development.
Hi, I'm a graduate of University of Phoenix with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, and a master's degree in Mental Health and Wellness with an Emphasis in Family Dynamics from Grand Canyon University. As the Operations Manager at EAGLE College Prep: Maryvale my goal is to work diligently as part of a team with each scholar, family, and colleague with the purpose of giving them the best experience.
As Student Support Manager, my goal is to ensure the highest quality service to our special populations. Last year, I started my career with EAGLE as the Dean of Students. Prior to working at EAGLE, I was a special education teacher for five years in Phoenix and Philadelphia, teaching grades ranging from elementary to high school. I am a Teach for America alumni and received a M.Ed from the University of Pennsylvania. I am committed to the EAGLE Maryvale community and love working on a team to provide excellent and equitable education for our students.
Hi! Welcome to Eagle College Prep- Maryvale. I am excited to serve as Eagle- Maryvale’s Dean of Instruction. I have worked for EAGLE for about 3 ½ years ranging in positions from reading interventionist to core classroom teacher. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with my degree in Elementary Education as well as my endorsement in early childhood education. I am extremely passionate about equal education for all students. Here at Maryvale, we utilize a curriculum that is fit towards each scholars’ needs’, data driven instruction, regular progress monitoring, and weekly teacher coaching to ensure that instruction is being tailored to each individual scholar. Not only do I love coaching, but I love being coached. Just as your scholar is constantly learning, I am too! I look forward to learning and growing with your child this year!
As the Schools Admissions Manager my goal is to provide any information that we can to help you choose the best school for your scholar. Prior to becoming the school’s admissions manager, Ms. Romero taught music classes to ages 4–18 for 2 years.
In 2019, Ms. Romero start working with EAGLE College Prep: Maryvale’s as the afterschool music teacher she fell in love with the culture and community. She's had the privilege since then to helping teach 4th- 6th grade ELA/Math.
Hello, my name is Alejandra Paez and I am the office manager at EAGLE Maryvale. As the office manager I am responsible for the smooth operation of the school's administrative office. With five years of experience in education I bring a strong commitment to efficiency and organization to my roll. I handle a wide range of tasks, including managing student records, attendance, coordinating communication between staff, parents and students, and overseeing various administrative processes. My name is Roxanna Arambula “Mrs. Roxy,” and I am the Dean of Students at EAGLE: Maryvale. I started my EAGLE journey in 2021 as a behavior interventionist and before was a behavioral health high needs case manager. I will be completing my Master of Science in Psychology degree this month and look forward to continuing to support children with their mental health needs. As the Dean of Students this year, I look forward to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all our EAGLE scholars. With a passion for student success and well-being, I strive to create a positive campus experience that promotes personal growth, academic achievement, and social engagement.
