Our Team

It is with great pride and excitement that I introduce myself as the new principal of EAGLE Maryvale! Although I am new to the Maryvale campus, this is my fifth year with EAGLE. Overall, I have 33 years of experience in education in Arizona. As a teacher and administrator, I am deeply committed to fostering academic excellence and partnering with families to help every scholar thrive. I started my teaching career right here in Maryvale as a first-grade teacher. Since then, I have taught fifth grade as well as middle school language arts. In my administrative career, I have been a high school assistant principal and middle school principal in addition to my time as an elementary school principal with EAGLE. 

I am excited to get to know each of you and to support the incredible work already happening at EAGLE Maryvale. Together, let’s make this school year one of success, joy, and shared achievement.

Dr. Dinneen will be our Behavior Interventionist (BI) for the 2025-26 school year. His resume includes an EdD in athletic administration from NCU, a MEd in early childhood education from NAU, and a MEd in Educational Leadership from NCU. Included in his over 25 years of education excellence, was kindergarten teacher, junior high teacher, dean of students, assistant principal, athletic director and a tenured professor in higher education. During his administrative career, classroom management and a focus on student positivity has been his expertise and he takes great pride in establishing and maintaining rules and norms as a means of providing the most optimal learning environment for scholars. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in school counseling. 

Hello, my name is Berenice Anaya and I am the office manager at EAGLE Maryvale. As the office manager I am responsible for the smooth operation of the school's administrative office. 

I have a deep love for reading and learning—it's something I truly cherish. I believe that one of the greatest ways we can serve others is by sharing what we know.

I’m a proud mother of two wonderful girls and have been happily married for 21 years. I’ve worked in education for the past 12 years. I began my journey teaching at a Montessori school and later transitioned into administration, which I absolutely love. I truly can't imagine being anywhere else but surrounded by children.

There’s something special about walking through the hallways, seeing kids laughing, playing, and learning—it brings me so much joy.
